What is Parenting Teenagers Course?

The Parenting Teenagers Course is designed for parents, step-parents, prospective parents or caregivers of teenagers aged 11-18 years old. The course is for every type of parenting situation including parenting on your own, step-parenting and parenting as a couple. The Parenting Teenagers Course is based on Christian principles but designed for all families with or without a church background. During the course, you are seated in small groups based on the age of your oldest child so that you can meet other parents and caregivers with teenagers of a similar age.

What to expect?

The course meets every Friday for 10 weeks. Each session begins with a meal provided by SVAC, follow by a video session and then a small group discussion on the topic that is covered. Simultaneously, SVAC provides childcare for infants to preschoolers and offers the Alpha Youth Program for children who are from kindergarten and up.
